Ever since our launch in 1982, NT Labs has led the way in research and development within the aquatic industry. As a proud UK-based, multi-award-winning manufacturer, we offer a wide range of products, including aquarium maintenance accessories, water treatments, fish medicines, water testing kits, and fish foods. Our products cater for koi keepers, pond enthusiasts, aquascapers, axolotl keepers and both freshwater and marine aquarium hobbyists. The name "NT Labs" reflects our dedication to innovation because after all, "NT" stands for New Technology!
In 2007, we became the first UK manufacturer to receive a Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) license for small animal medicines (SAM0001). This license allows us to produce veterinary medicines for ornamental fish, ensuring full compliance with stringent VMD requirements. Unlike others in the industry who outsource their medicine production, we take pride in managing this process in-house, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
We are also fully compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), demonstrating our commitment to providing top-quality products. Behind NT Labs is a dedicated team of biologists, production experts, quality control specialists, and sales and marketing professionals, all working from our facility in the southeast of England.
We are passionate about supporting independent aquatic retailers. We believe independent retailers are the backbone of the industry, offering not only high-quality livestock but also invaluable advice that makes us all better fish keepers.

Your Probiotic food is absolutely brilliant! I bought twenty one 1 year old Japanese Koi via a fish farm in Ogata, Japan about 3 years ago. I’ve been feeding them on Probiotic and Probiotic Growth in the summer months. Some of are now 2ft in length and of superior quality. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
